Northern Builders, a real estate development and construction company, has announced plans to develop an 802,440-square-foot industrial facility in Joliet, Illinois. The project will be done in partnership with Affinius Capital and is expected to have the potential for expansion up to 1.2 million square feet.
Construction on the modern building with a clear height of 40 feet is set to begin next week. It will feature amenities such as parking space for up to 600 cars, 175 dock positions and room for approximately178 trailers. Additionally, there is extra land available near the site that can be used for additional trailer parking.
According to Matthias Trizna VP of Development and Sales at Northern Builders: “The fact that we are able take on this speculative project during these challenging economic times speaks volumes about the strong demand and solid foundation of I-80 Corridor.”
This development marks Northern’s fourth project at Cherry Hill Business Park in just one year since its inception in2024.
