Remedy Medical Properties and Kayne Anderson Real Estate have announced the acquisition of RUSH Oak Brook Medical Center, a LEED Gold-certified facility located in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook. The 93,386-square-foot medical office building and ambulatory surgery center is situated on 3.516 acres and boasts a long-term lease with RUSH University System for Health and Midwest Orthopaedics at RUSH.
Constructed in 2018, this three-story building serves as a premier outpatient healthcare hub for over 20 clinical specialties. It features state-of-the-art facilities including six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and 28 patient bays.
According to Joe Magliochetti, chief investment officer for Remedy Medical Properties: “As a Chicago-based company with an expert understanding of our local market’s needs, we are delighted to add this prestigious property to our portfolio.” This latest acquisition brings their total square footage in the Chicago area to an impressive 2.55 million square feet.
