Johnson Announces Westchase Mixed-Use Development Roll Out

Johnson Development Services is making progress on Park Eight Place, a 70-acre mixed-use development located in the Westchase District to the west of Houston. Construction contracts for the project’s infrastructure have been awarded and construction is expected to begin later this year.

Situated at Bellaire Boulevard and Beltway 8, Park Eight Place will offer a variety of residential and office options. The development will also be connected to the neighboring Arthur Storey Park, which spans over 200 acres. This integration will include plazas, parks, an extensive trail system with a trailhead that connects to Brays Bayou Greenway hike-and-bike trail linking Katy to downtown Houston.

To bring this project together, Johnson Development Services has partnered with renowned firms such as Gensler for design and architecture services; TBG Partners for landscape architecture and urban design; as well as BGE (formerly known as Brown & Gay Engineers). Additionally, Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone financing will be utilized in order to maximize potential benefits from this development.
