"Johns Creek Project: Toro Begins Construction on $560M Development"

Toro Development Company, also known as TDC, has recently begun construction on Medley – a 43-acre mixed-use community in Johns Creek with an estimated cost of $560 million. The grand opening for this project is expected to take place on October 29, 2026.

In November of 2024, TDC secured financing for the development. This includes an equity investment from Ascentris and a $158 million construction loan from Banco Inbursa specifically for the first phase.

Medley will be located at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Johns Creek Parkway. It will feature various amenities such as retail shops, restaurants, entertainment spaces totaling up to 150,000 square feet. Additionally,a boutique hotel with approximately175 rooms and office space spanning over1100 square feet are also planned within this community along with750 multifamily residences built by Empire Communitiesand133 townhomes.Additionally,a25 ,000-square-foot Plaza will be included in Medley’s design.
