Johns Creek Approves Construction of 175-Room Hotel

Toro Development Company (TDC) has been given the green light by the Johns Creek City Council to construct a 175-room hotel as part of their planned mixed-use project, Medley. TDC, who is leading the development, will build this hotel at the intersection of McGinnis Ferry Road and Johns Creek Parkway in Johns Creek.

The specific development partner and brand for The Hotel at Avalon have yet to be determined.

Construction on Medley is expected to begin later this year with an anticipated opening in Q3 2026. To prepare for construction, TDC has demolished an existing 350,000-square-foot office building on site.

Aside from the hotel component, Medley’s first phase will also include approximately 180,000 square feet of retail space along with restaurants and entertainment options. Additionally there will be around 110
