The family of John C. Cushman, III, a member of the founding family of global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, announced his passing on May 4 at age 82. In a statement released by the company they said “Over the course of his 60-year career, John’s iconic legacy in business and as a global citizen stands as an integral part in our history. We extend our sincerest condolences to his family and all who join us in mourning this great loss.”
The following statement was provided by Mr.Cushman’s family: “We are deeply saddened to share that John passed away peacefully today at age 82 surrounded by those he loved most; including wife Jeanine whom he had been married to for nearly 60 years along with four sons their wives and 10 grandchildren plus two brothers”. He was proudest not only for what he achieved professionally but also for how many careers were positively impacted through him over time – something which mattered more than anything else to him personally. His philanthropic efforts will continue contributing towards his legacy long after he is gone from us now”.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts it has been requested that individuals wishing make gestures honoring Mr.Cushman visit national park sites or donate on behalf National Park Foundation on behalf John C .Cushmann III
