John M. Corcoran & Company (JMC) and SMT Development have collaborated with the City of Somerville to unveil a new park at 346 Somerville Avenue, adjacent to their latest residential building, Union 346.
The park, named after Martha Perry Lowe who was an active founder of the Women’s Educational Union and various charitable organizations in the city, covers approximately 7,000 square feet. It boasts café seating areas, benches for relaxation purposes and hammock stations for ultimate comfort. The open lawn area is surrounded by tasteful landscaping that adds to its charm.
According to Tim Corcoran from JMC: “Our partnership with the city has resulted in a stunning green space that can be enjoyed by both members of our community as well as our residents.” He further added: “As Union Square continues its development journey forward; Union 346 not only brings this beautiful park but also offers high-quality living options.”
