**JLL to Handle 1M SF Office Leasing Assignment in Houston’s Galleria-Uptown District**
JLL has been appointed by Tanglewood Property Group to manage leasing for its office portfolio in Houston’s Galleria-Uptown area. The portfolio spans 1,005,595 square feet across three prominent office buildings: 5599 San Felipe, 5444 Westheimer, and 2801 Post Oak.
JLL’s Chrissy Wilson and Paul Frazier will lead marketing and leasing efforts for all three properties on behalf of Tanglewood.
The centerpiece of the portfolio, 5599 San Felipe, is a 21-story, Class A office tower encompassing 473,645 square feet. Located within the San Felipe micromarket, the building offers downtown views and a robust amenity package that includes an onsite deli and fitness center.
Nearby, 5444 Westheimer is another 21-story, Class A building totaling 392,226 square feet. It sits in the heart of Houston’s highly sought-after Uptown submarket.
Rounding out the portfolio, 2801 Post Oak is a 129,032-square-foot, Class B office asset, known as the headquarters of Westlake Corporation. The building has recently undergone exterior renovations and upgraded landscaping, with further interior improvements scheduled for 2026.
