JLL Facilitates Sale of Portland Flex Building to Sherpa Design
JLL has announced the successful sale of a 14,589-square-foot flex building located at 224 SE 2nd Street in Portland’s Central Eastside neighborhood. The Class B property was recently renovated by sellers Beam Development and Urban Development + Partners, with JLL representing both parties in the off-market transaction.
The buyer, Sherpa Design – a well-established product development and engineering firm – was also represented by JLL. Managing Director Buzz Ellis from Capital Markets and Vice President Annalore Rodman from Agency Leasing led the team that facilitated this deal. “We have had a longstanding relationship with Beam and UD+P as reputable local firms,” says Rodman. “In fact, we previously collaborated on improving this industrial space to make it more versatile for various tenant uses.”
Sherpa will be relocating its operations to this newly acquired space from another site within Portland as part of their expansion plans.
This announcement marks yet another successful transaction for JLL in the commercial real estate market.
