"JLL Facilitates Sale of Logistics and Distribution Center in Carol Stream and I-290 Area"

JLL has successfully sold two top-quality industrial properties in the North DuPage County submarket of Chicago.

The firm acted as the representative for both transactions, which included the Carol Stream Logistics Center (185,796 square feet) and I-290 Distribution Center (150,010 square feet). In addition to securing a buyer for these properties, JLL also helped secure acquisition financing from a life insurance company on behalf of the new owner for the I-290 Distribution Center. The buyer of Carol Stream Logistics Center was Prologis.

Leading this successful sale were Managing Directors Kurt Sarbaugh and Ed Halaburt along with Senior Managing Directors Sean Devaney and John Huguenard from JLL’s Investment Sales and Advisory team. Financing for I-290 Distribution Center was secured by Senior Directors Brian Walsh and Lucas Borges as well as Managing Director Matt Stewart.

According to Josh Bauer, VP and Investment Officer at Prologis: “The purchase of Carol Stream Logistics Center is evidence of our dedication to acquiring modern logistics facilities in prime locations within our targeted submarkets.”

This transaction marks another success story for JLL’s experienced team in facilitating commercial real estate deals.
