Walker & Dunlop, Inc. has successfully secured a $245 million loan from TYKO Capital to support the construction of The Greyson, a 28-story mixed-use tower in Jersey City. The project is being developed by Nasser Freres and will feature 622 Class-A rental units.
The New York Capital Markets team at Walker & Dunlop, led by Keith Kurland, Aaron Appel, Jonathan Schwartz, Adam Schwartz, Jordan Casella and William Herring worked on behalf of Nasser Freres to secure the financing from TYKO Capital which is backed by Elliott Investment Management. With construction nearing completion on the building’s structure already in place,the loan proceeds will cover remaining costs for its completion.
Kurland stated that “Jersey City has undergone an impressive transformation over the past decade and continues to attract residents looking for affordable yet spacious rental options compared to NYC.” He also expressed pride in working with Nasser Freres on bringing this project to life and further enhancing the neighborhood.
