JC Penney, a household name among American retailers for over 120 years, declared bankruptcy in 2020 and vacated its Plano headquarters. However, after reorganizing and updating their operations the company has returned to the same 86-acre The Campus at Legacy West address on Legacy Drive in Plano.
The Dallas Business Journal reports that JCPenney’s 320,000 square feet office space was renovated to include two pickleball courts, an arcade, fitness centers as well as open office space with capacity for more than 2 000 employees. This move marks a new chapter of success for JC Penney which is sure to be welcomed by customers across America.
