Jamestown Tops Out $500 Million Times Square Redevelopment

Jamestown, a leading real estate investment and management firm, has reached the top of One Times Square’s construction, which will house the iconic New Year’s Eve Ball Drop. The highly anticipated $500 million redevelopment project is expected to be completed by 2025.

According to Michael Phillips, President of Jamestown, “The future of Times Square must capitalize on its strengths – from Broadway and digital billboards to the famous New Year’s Eve celebration – while also introducing new and diverse experiences that enhance its position as a global entertainment hub.”

This ambitious renovation aims to revitalize the historic 119-year-old building into a premier NYC visitor center. It will feature an all-new observation deck with stunning views of Times Square and an interactive museum showcasing the history behind this renowned event. The Countdown sign has already been installed, with plans for placing the 2024 Numerals atop the building in time for this year’s festivities.
