"Jamestown Installs Solar Panels at Larkspur Property"

Jamestown, a real estate investment firm based in Atlanta, has recently completed the installation of a solar energy system at The Exchange at Larkspur Landing. This office campus spans approximately 196,000 square feet and sits on 9.4 acres north of San Francisco in Larkspur. In partnership with Wunder, a provider of commercial energy solutions, Jamestown successfully deployed a 350-kilowatt solar energy system.

According to Jamestown’s estimates, this new system is expected to generate an impressive amount of power – specifically 570,320 kilowatt hours – in its first year alone. Additionally, the company predicts that it will offset over 878,370 pounds of CO2 emissions during this time period as well. This project is just one part of the larger collaboration between Jamestown and Wunder aimed at evaluating and implementing solar technology across applicable sites within their real estate portfolio and development pipeline.

Michael Phillips , presidentof Jamestown stated that “As both an owner/operator and developer within the real estate industry,it is our responsibility to contribute towards clean energy efforts.” He also noted that sustainability has always been prioritized by their business strategy, and they believe it will continue to be crucial for future success moving forward.
