Jacksonville Mayo Clinic Expansion: A $432M Project Begins

The Mayo Clinic has announced plans for a $432 million expansion of its Phase 3 tower, which will add five stories and 250,000 square feet of space. The project is being led by the Robins & Morton Group and is expected to be completed in 2026 with the addition of 121 beds.

According to reports from the Jacksonville Business Journal, Mayo Clinic has been busy in recent years with various projects. In June, construction began on a new Hilton Hotel with 252 rooms. In August, they acquired a permit worth $49.5 million for another construction project and received approval from Jacksonville City Council to expand their San Pablo Road Campus by an additional 210 acres.

In September, Mayo Clinic opened its downtown office at the Ed Ball building as part of their ongoing growth strategy.

This latest expansion marks yet another milestone for one of America’s leading healthcare institutions as it continues to invest in state-of-the-art facilities and services for patients across Florida.
