Newmark recently facilitated a new 15,446-square-foot office lease at Fitch Technology Center in Irvine. The completion of this lease brings the asset to full occupancy.
Richard Sung, Managing Director, and Greg Puccinelli, Senior Managing Director at Newmark represented the landlord CheckerProp in this transaction. The tenant was Guardian Litigation Group LLP, a multi-jurisdictional law firm based in Orange County. They were represented by Craig Kish, Senior Managing Director at Newmark.
The tenant relocated and expanded from a neighboring building on Fitch Street in Irvine which was quickly filled after their departure. Located on Fitch Street between 17838-17850 is the single-story high-end creative office building known as Fitch Technology Center with almost 40,000 square feet of space.
Puccinelli stated that “Irvine’s office market continues to be favorable for businesses especially given recent remote working trends.” He also noted that completing this lease demonstrates both strong activity within the Irvine market and an increasing demand for quality offices that cater to collaborative work environments.
