Investor JV Scoping for 7-Acre Nashville Mixed-Use Project

Marquette Cos. and Origin Investments have submitted plans for a mixed-use development at 1000 Hawkins St. in Nashville to the city’s planning agency for approval.

The project, known as North Edgehill Commons, will consist of five buildings – two eight-story structures and three five-story structures.

With over 700 residential units planned, including studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as 26 townhomes on the nearly seven-acre site formerly occupied by a Beaman car dealership property. Additionally, there will be approximately 35,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space included in the development.

Leading engineering firm Thomas & Hutton from Nashville is overseeing the project while Atlanta-based Dynamik Design is responsible for providing architectural plans.

According to reports from The Nashville Business Journal , Marquette Cos., who acquired the land for $42.32 million earlier this year in January along with their partner Origin Investments are scheduled to present their proposal on July 25th before seeking approval from Metro Planning Department officials.
