Hillside Ventures, the early-stage venture fund of the University of Connecticut, has announced a minority investment in Enviro Power, a climate technology company focused on transforming the heating industry with its innovative SmartWatt Boiler. The investment will support Enviro Power’s efforts to expand their marketing and sales reach to advance their goal of decarbonizing the built environment.
Dan Nadav, CEO of Enviro Power expressed his excitement for partnering with Hillside Ventures: “Our mission is to make it easy for everyone to implement clean energy programs with an efficient and attainable solution.” The SmartWatt Boiler replaces aging heating equipment by capturing and converting heat and steam lost in traditional boilers into free electricity at high efficiency.
