Investing in Houston: Anheuser-Busch Pledges $22.5M to Local Brewery

For over 60 years, Anheuser-Busch has been a fixture in Houston and they are showing no signs of leaving. The company is investing an additional $22.5 million into its local brewery to upgrade the cooling system, improve workplace safety and reduce electricity consumption. This will involve completely removing the existing cooling system and repositioning it for improved functionality as well as adding a free-standing structure to house evaporative condensers. It is expected that this new cooling system will be fully operational by Q4 2023.

Anheuser-Busch’s presence in Texas creates more than 1,000 jobs within their facilities while also supporting nearly 6,000 members of the larger Anheuser-Busch distributor family across the state – contributing an estimated $1.4 billion in capital investments towards economic growth for Texas overall .
