Intuitive Machines Completes Operations Center at Houston Spaceport

Intuitive Machines, a Houston-based company, has recently completed construction of its Lunar Operations and Production Center. The center spans 12.5 acres and features 125,000 square feet of office and production space equipped with 45-foot cranes to facilitate the movement of their lunar landers.

The company’s Nova Lunar Lander is set to be sent to Florida in support of a NASA mission. This marks an exciting milestone for Intuitive Machines as they would become the first private company to successfully land on the moon’s surface. The expected date for this historic event is November 15th, pending NASA’s launch schedule and availability of SpaceX rockets.

This achievement comes after Intuitive Machines broke ground on their $40 million center at Houston Spaceport in December 2021. With plans to produce multiple lunar landers in the near future, Intuitive Machines continues its commitment towards advancing space exploration technology.
