Midway International Airport, in collaboration with Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Chicago Department of Aviation, has announced plans to launch a new lounge for customers by 2024.
Named The Club MDW, this will be the first-ever lounge at Midway Airport since its establishment 95 years ago. Situated at the intersection of Concourses A and B, The Club MDW will cater to all travelers regardless of their airline class. This exclusive lounge is designed to provide complimentary food and beverage services. Drawing inspiration from Chicago’s rich architectural history, this 3,300-square-foot club can be accessed through Priority Pass – the world’s largest airport lounge membership program.
Construction for The Club MDW will commence early next year with an expected opening in fall 2024. “With over 22.7 million people passing through Midway each year,” said Johnson,” we are thrilled to offer them this new service that reflects our city’s excellence.”
This announcement was made on Connect CRE – showcasing how Midway International Airport continues to elevate its customer experience by introducing innovative amenities like The Club MDW.
