State of Play Hospitality has secured a lease for their newest venture, Flight Club, in the bustling city of New York. This upscale Social Darts concept will be located at 31 Union Square West and marks the group’s first location in Manhattan. It will also serve as their ninth venue for the Flight Club brand in North America and act as a global flagship.
The impressive space spans 10,700 square feet across both the ground floor and basement levels with an additional patio on 16th Street. Previously occupied by Blue Water Grill restaurant, this former bank was built by Bank of Metropolis back in 1902-03 to serve as their headquarters. In recognition of its historical significance, it was designated a city landmark by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1988 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
Toby Harris, CEO of State Of Play Hospitality expressed his excitement about securing this prime real estate opportunity after searching for over five years: “We are thrilled to finally bring Flight Club to New York City with such an iconic location that perfectly aligns with our brand vision.” He believes that both building itself and its stunning split level layout make it an ideal fit for Flight Club’s unique concept.
