Intracorp, a local residential builder, has made significant progress on their first multifamily project in Snohomish County. The project, called Motto Apartments, is located in Marysville’s Lakewood neighborhood just west of Interstate 5. It will consist of two phases and a total of 474 units. Phase I is currently leasing with 228 units and Phase II will begin construction this spring with an additional 246 units.
The lender for the project is Northwestern Mutual Life and it has a budget of $150 million. Spanning nearly 20 acres, the development will feature a resort-style clubhouse measuring at approximately 6,000 square feet as well as amenities such as a pool, spa, fitness facility and integrated open space plan. The apartments in both phases will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom options ranging from sizes between614 to1 ,221 square feet.
According to Paul Bottge,the Regional President at Intracorp,”the north Marysville development story may have gone unnoticed but regional job growth has been drawn to this area.” He specifically mentioned the nearby Cascade Industrial Center which recently added thousands of new jobs in high-tech manufacturing,packaging,and distribution industries.This further proves that Marysville is becoming an attractive location for businessesand residents alike.
