"Intersect Illinois Welcomes PsiQuantum Co-Founder and CEO to Board of Directors"

Intersect Illinois has announced the addition of Professor Jeremy O’Brien, Co-founder and CEO of PsiQuantum, to its board of directors. This comes as PsiQuantum recently revealed plans to construct the first quantum computer in the United States at Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP), located on the former U.S. Steel South Works property in Chicago.

PsiQuantum is collaborating with clients and governments worldwide to drive progress in various industries such as healthcare, climate change, finance, transportation, and security. “I am thrilled to become a part of Intersect Illinois’ board and contribute towards their efforts in positioning Illinois as a leader in advanced technologies like quantum computing,” said O’Brien.
