Interra Realty successfully negotiated the sale of a two-building multifamily portfolio for $7.5 million on Chicago’s South Side, located near the future Obama Presidential Center. The 79 units consist of three studios, 21 one-bedrooms, 33 two-bedrooms, 13 three-bedrooms and nine four bedrooms and were 94% occupied at the time of sale. Lucas Fryman represented sellers Mendy Raskin and Jon Kranzler who purchased these buildings in 2019 for $6.7 million while Brad Feldman represented local private investor buyer who assumed an existing long term Fannie Mae loan from seller as part of this transaction. These properties are within walking distance to South Shore Cultural Center and South Shore Golf Course making them highly desirable investments in this area .
