Tishman Speyer has secured a 37,700-square-foot lease with the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) at International Square, a recently renovated office tower located in Washington D.C. The LSC is a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance for civil legal aid to low-income individuals and will occupy the entire eighth floor starting in November 2024 under a 15.5-year lease.
The extensive renovation of International Square included updates to the lobby and the addition of The Square, an on-site food market featuring 15 food stalls and a Spanish restaurant. Other new amenities added to the complex include a state-of-the-art fitness center spanning over 7,000 square feet, conference rooms for meetings and events, as well as various other facilities.
Tishman Speyer represented themselves internally while Sherry Cushman and Greg Culver from Cushman & Wakefield represented Legal Services Corporation during negotiations.
