The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) recently hosted its 128th annual event, bringing together over 1,000 leaders from the real estate, business, and government sectors. The event featured notable speakers such as U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Governor Kathy Hochul, and Mayor Eric Adams. Additionally, seven industry and civic leaders were honored at the REBNY awards ceremony.

We had the opportunity to speak with honorees and other industry leaders on their advice for navigating today’s market during our red carpet interviews. Among those we spoke with were James Nelson of Avison Young; Douglas F. Eisenberg of A&E; Peter Turchin of CBRE; Leslie Himmel of Himmel + Meringoff Properties; Bill Rudin of Rudin Management Company; and Elizabeth Stribling from Compass.
