### South American Holdings Plans Massive Kissimmee Resort

South American Holdings is exploring the development of a 624-unit resort in Kissimmee, situated on 36 acres south of Four Winds Boulevard.

Preliminary plans for the project include 13 four-story buildings, each spanning 11,450 square feet. The resort is expected to feature a clubhouse, pool and spa, playground, soccer field, pickleball courts, and 1,250 parking spaces. Each building would house 48 residential units.

According to the *Orlando Business Journal*, South American Holdings acquired the property for $300,000 in 2020. The development proposal is currently being reviewed by the Osceola County Community Development Department, with Kimley Horn overseeing the process.

The land, designated as “commercial tourist” zoning in Osceola County, comprises nearly 30 acres of wetlands. It is located north of Oren Brown Road and west of W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway/U.S. 192, positioned between Kissimmee’s city limits and the Celebration area.
