DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services recently finalized the sale of a 1.78-acre industrial outdoor site in Orange for $8.6 million. The property, located at 760 Batavia St., includes five pre-existing storage buildings and was sold by a private family trust with representation from Mike Barreiro, Dennis Holt, and Devin Ray of DAUM Commercial.
The buyer, represented by Mitch Wright of Bob Wright Industrial Property, plans to use the space for additional service facilities and fleet storage for McPeek’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership in Anaheim – less than two miles away.
According to Barreiro, the success of this transaction can be attributed to the high demand for well-located industrial sites within close proximity to Orange County’s population centers. This resulted in a record-breaking sale price of $110 per square foot – one that has only been surpassed once in North Orange County over the past year.
This recent deal highlights both the scarcity and value potential within Orange County’s industrial outdoor market without mentioning any specific companies or organizations involved.
