SPHERE Investments, a public health investment firm, has recently acquired the PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana – South Campus. This inpatient rehabilitation facility is located at 3104 Blackiston Blvd. in New Albany, Indiana and marks SPHERE’s first investment in the state.

The property spans over 66,143 square feet and sits on 6.92 acres of land with 40 beds for patients. It was previously known as Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital before being purchased by the seller for $23.4 million in 2018.

According to Eli H.Karlin M.D., Managing Partner at SPHERE Investments, this acquisition strategically strengthens PAM’s regional presence by adding a South Campus to complement their already successful North Campus location. This will improve patient access and operational efficiency while maintaining their commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.

David Egozi Choukroun, VP of Investments at SPHERE Investments also stated that this expansion aligns with their goal of addressing the public need for reliable healthcare infrastructure and supports PAM’s efforts towards optimal patient care through well-equipped facilities.

Overall, this acquisition showcases SPHERE Investment’s dedication towards investing in projects that promote better public health outcomes while also supporting local communities like New Albany.
