Indecor Home has committed to a long-term, full-floor lease in Manhattan’s Garment District, relocating and consolidating its New York operations into 247 W. 37th St. The New York-based designer and manufacturer of home décor products has signed a 10-year lease for the entire fifth floor of the property, encompassing 16,806 square feet. The company specializes in bath accessories, shower curtains, rugs and textiles that are supplied to major national retailers.
The new space at 247 W. 37th St. will serve multiple functions for Indecor Home. According to the announcement, the floor will accommodate the firm’s executive offices as well as its sales and design teams, while also providing room for a dedicated home products showroom. By bringing these functions together on a single full floor, the company is aiming to centralize its operations in one location within the Garment District.
Indecor Home is relocating from its current address at 240 Madison Ave. to make this move. The decision to take a full floor at 247 W. 37th St. was framed as a response to the company’s space needs. The configuration of the fifth floor is expected to provide flexibility for Indecor Home to organize its teams and showroom layout in a way that aligns with its workflow and product presentation requirements.
GFP Real Estate is the landlord at 247 W. 37th St. and handled the lease negotiations on the ownership side. “Indecor needed room to bring its teams and showroom together, and the full floor at 247 W. 37th St. gives it the flexibility to do that,” said Matthew Mandell, senior managing director of GFP Real Estate. He added that the building continues to attract businesses that prioritize a central Manhattan location and space they can adapt to their operations.
Mandell represented the landlord in the transaction. Tenant representation was provided by David Menaged of Intrepid Real Estate Group, who acted on behalf of Indecor Home. The lease further underscores ongoing tenant demand in the Garment District from companies that combine office use with product-focused showroom requirements.
