Tupps Brewery is set to unveil its new, expansive location in the historic mill district of East McKinney. Founded in 2015 as a small garage project, the brewery has experienced significant growth over the past nine years and now distributes its products throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Florida. The new site at 402 East Louisiana St. provides ample space for increased production.
Spanning an impressive 60,000 square feet on a six-acre plot that was once a grain mill, this campus features a four-story production facility measuring 25,000 square feet as well as an outdoor beer garden and restaurant. Additionally,a parking lot with capacity for up to 210 cars is included.
In the previous year alone,Tupps produced approximately11 ,000 barrels of beer; however,the expanded facility will allow for potential output of up to50 ,000 barrels with additional tanks added.The post announcing this development highlights that it represents an $18 million investment in McKinney’s economy without mentioning “Connect” or “Connect CRE” or “Connect LA”.
