"Imperial County Farmland Sale Arranged by CushWake - 2,400 Acres"

Cushman & Wakefield successfully brokered the sale of a 2,411-acre agricultural farmland portfolio in Imperial County for $27.5 million. The portfolio, known as Starr Ranch and located in Holtville, boasts high-quality vegetable ground with 527 acres designated for organic farming.

The buyer, Peri & Sons Farms from Nevada, is expanding their presence in the region and has plans to utilize the property for farming purposes long-term.

Representing the seller was Cushman & Wakefield’s Land Advisory Group based in San Diego led by Matt Davis and Melanie Haynes. According to Davis and Haynes, Peri & Sons recognized this rare opportunity of owning a contiguous farmland portfolio situated within one of California’s top winter vegetable producing regions.

In addition to advising on this transaction, Cushman & Wakefield also assisted with transitioning this closely held multi-generational asset into a diversified portfolio. This recent deal marks another successful venture by CushWake as they continue to facilitate major real estate transactions across various industries.
