**IKEA to Open New Store in Webster, Texas in 2026**
IKEA U.S. has officially announced plans to open a new store in Webster, Texas, with a projected opening timeline set for summer 2026. This upcoming location will mark the retail giant’s tenth store in the state.
The new IKEA Webster store will be located at the Center at Baybrook, situated at 19801 Gulf Freeway, southeast of Houston. Spanning 93,000 square feet, the store will feature numerous fully furnished room settings designed to reflect local lifestyles and provide practical “local living” solutions.
Visitors to IKEA Webster will be able to browse a selection of 7,000 products on display. Of those, more than 4,800 items—including home accessories and over 800 smaller furniture pieces—will be available for immediate takeaway. Larger furnishings, such as beds and sofas, along with IKEA’s full product range, will be available for order both in-store and online for convenient home delivery.
Globally, IKEA operates nearly 500 stores in 50 countries and employs approximately 16,000 people in the United States alone. Texas is currently home to a dozen IKEA locations, making it one of the top markets for the beloved furniture brand in the country.
