**Hyatt Studios Hotel Brand to Debut in North Phoenix**
Caliber Companies is set to bring a new Hyatt Studios hotel to North Phoenix. The Scottsdale-based real estate investment firm plans to develop a four-story, 114-room hotel on a 2.28-acre site located at 29th Avenue and Sonoran Desert Drive.
This project stems from a broader agreement between Caliber and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Last year, Caliber announced a development rights agreement with a Hyatt affiliate, granting its Caliber Hospitality Development division exclusive rights to develop Hyatt Studios hotels in five select markets, including Arizona. Under the agreement, up to 15 hotels are expected to be developed.
Hyatt Studios is a relatively new offering under the Hyatt brand, designed as an upscale extended-stay option. The hotel features studio-style rooms equipped with in-unit kitchens, catering to longer-term guests seeking comfort and amenities.
The architectural design for the project is being led by Stewart + Reindersma Architecture, bringing their expertise to this debut location.
This marks the first Hyatt Studios location planned for the North Phoenix area, aligning with broader hospitality growth trends across Arizona.
