Hunt Electric Relocates Headquarters with Assistance from Transwestern

Hunt Electric Corporation has enlisted the help of Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) to purchase a new headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota. The 300,000-square-foot flex/tech space at 1000 Blue Gentian Road will serve as Hunt Electric’s new location, as they relocate from their current headquarters in nearby Bloomington.

The buyer was represented by a team from Transwestern consisting of Chris Weirens , Nate Erickson , Alex Baron , Ben Youds , and Max Stewart. The building was previously owned by Water Street Partners.

Hunt Electric is a national firm that specializes in electric design, build, and maintenance services. Their current headquarters at 7900 Chicago Ave. S in Bloomington spans over 160,000 square feet but the company has outgrown this space and decided to relocate.

Originally listed for lease with ample room for Hunt Electric’s growth needs – including rooftop parking – the Transwestern team proposed an innovative solution where Hunt would own their new property while still retaining four existing tenants who occupy about half of the building.

In addition to facilitating the relocation process for Hunt Electric Corporation, Weirens,Erickson, and Youds will also represent them when marketing their former headquarters at 7900 Chicago Ave.S for sale or lease through TRS.
