If approved by a local planning agency, Housing Trust Group (HTG) is set to proceed with an affordable senior housing development in Hollywood, Florida.
According to reports from the South Florida Business Journal, the city’s Technical Advisory Committee is scheduled to review plans for the project, named Paramount Place, in February. The development would occupy a 35,030-square-foot site located at 826 S. Dixie Highway and 2115 Washington Street, which currently includes an 11,486-square-foot automotive building. HTG acquired the property in August 2024 for $3.6 million.
The proposed plan includes redeveloping the site with an eight-story, 162,541-square-foot building, featuring 96 affordable senior housing units and 131 parking spaces. The building design includes a pool deck on the fourth floor and indoor amenity spaces spanning floors two through four. Apartment sizes would range from 699 to 1,066 square feet, offering 84 one-bedroom units and 12 two-bedroom units.
The project is being designed by Realization Architects.
