Houston Welcomes Moxy: A New Hotel Experience

The Moxy by Marriott brand is rapidly expanding, with the recent introduction of a Phoenix location and now Houston’s State National Building being revamped to welcome guests as soon as July. The 118-key hotel will be located inside the historic 13-story building on Main Street between Prairie and Preston streets. LMG General Contractors from Houston oversaw construction while Campo Architecture & Interior Design from New Orleans served as lead architect on the project.

Moxy hotels are designed to make staying in them fun and energetic experiences for their guests; instead of checking in at a front desk, visitors can check in at the lobby bar where they’ll receive a complimentary cocktail along with their room key. To add even more excitement, there will be a mechanical bull installed in the lobby area while meeting rooms feature ping pong tables instead of traditional conference tables!
