A group of Houston-area physicians have announced plans to break ground on the Cypress Health and Wellness Campus, a $500 million – $600 million project located next to the Second Baptist Church Cypress Campus. The doctor-led development group, North Cypress Land Ventures, will begin with a 70,000-square-foot multi-specialty medical office building that is already 90% leased. Subsequent phases could include four or five buildings and may include a wellness center or women’s/cancer center over the course of five years.
The project was paused for two years due to pandemic restrictions but is now moving forward with optimism that it will be worth the wait. With more than 30 physicians involved in this venture, it promises to bring much needed health care services as well as economic growth opportunities for local businesses in Houston’s northwest suburbs.
