An office condo community is being developed in Houston’s District West, a mixed-use development near the southeastern corner of the Westpark Tollway and Grand Parkway. This will be the second such project built in Houston, as buildings allowing ownership become increasingly popular among small business owners who are seeking a permanent address and no longer wish to rent.
Milton Allen and Bobby Ferguson started this venture with each office park sitting on approximately 5 acres consisting of 10 buildings averaging 5,000 square feet for an overall total of 83,750 square feet of Class A office space. The $12 million Grand Park Pro project began about 18 months ago with three completed buildings that have sold out already.
The third installment – Grand Park West at 21611 FM 1093 – is estimated to cost $14 million and has already been sold prior to breaking ground within the next few months upon completion permitting processes.
