Houston Innovation Hub Welcomes 10 New Tenants

Houston’s Innovation Hub, the Ion District, recently welcomed its tenth tenant. On its website, The Ion states that it provides a collaborative space and programs to foster innovation and growth among Houston’s entrepreneurial, corporate and academic community.

The new tenants have leased 35,000 square feet of space in the 266-square foot building which is now 86% occupied. Among them is Ara Partners – a global private equity firm focused on investing in carbon decentralization technology based out of Houston.

This news comes shortly after Common Desk announced their expansion into nearly 50 percent more workspace at the Ion to accommodate an influx of entrepreneurs startups and corporates alike who are eager for access to this innovative hub.

The grand opening was celebrated back in May 2022 with Chevron Microsoft Schlumberger and Houston Methodist already occupying spaces within The Ion District .
