Houston Hotel Granduca: Sale Confirmed, Latest Update Revealed

Transwestern Hospitality Group (THG) recently acquired Hotel Granduca, a luxurious 122-key property located on three and a half acres at 1080 Uptown Park Boulevard. The transaction was facilitated by THG partners Tyler Lavin and Thomas Duncan, who will also lead the comprehensive repositioning project for this renowned hotel.

In collaboration with Ring on Hook, a hospitality renovation specialist, as well as other placemaking consultants, THG plans to begin repositioning the asset in mid-2024. Leading design firm Kara Childress Inc. has been chosen to handle the interior design for this project while Westmont Hospitality Group will operate the hotel.

The updates planned for Hotel Granduca include enhancements to its overall design and guest experience, as well as an improved amenity package and food and beverage program. Additionally, there are plans to add a destination restaurant on the ground floor along with expanded event spaces and upgraded workout facilities.
