A new build-to-rent community, Balcara at Meridiana, is now leasing units in the Rise Communities’ 3,000-acre master-planned community in Manvel. The development is located just a short drive from Houston and has already rented out 20 of its 112 units. Construction on the remaining units is expected to be completed by this summer.
According to a report from the Houston Business Journal, Balcara Group acquired the land for this project from Rise in late 2021 and began development nine months ago. The attached two-story homes offer three or four bedrooms and range from 1,700 to 1,770 square feet with two-car garages and fenced backyards.
