**University District Hotel Sells for $27 Million**

A hotel located in Seattle’s University District, the University Inn, has been purchased for $27 million by an entity affiliated with Seattle-based investment firm Onelin Capital Corp.

The seller was an entity tied to Staypineapple Hotels, a Bellevue-based real estate investment and management company that specializes in boutique hotels. Originally constructed for the 1962 World’s Fair, University Inn is situated at 4140 Roosevelt Way NE—just four blocks from the University of Washington campus and the UW Medical Center. The property also offers convenient access to popular Seattle destinations such as Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and the Seattle Waterfront.

This transaction is part of a broader reshuffling of Staypineapple’s holdings. The company has recently sold all four of its hotels in the Seattle market. In a related move, JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group arranged a $29.5 million refinancing for The Maxwell Hotel, a 139-key boutique property located in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood.

The University Inn sale marks another example of strong investor interest in well-located boutique hotel properties in key urban markets.
