Host Super Bowl 2026 in the Bay Area

The NFL has approved the San Francisco 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara as the host site of Super Bowl LX in 2026. This will be the Bay Area’s third Super Bowl and second one for Levi’s Stadium since its opening in 2014.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed his enthusiasm, stating “The Bay Area was an incredible host for Super Bowl 50, and we are thrilled to bring the Super Bowl back. We look forward to working with the 49ers and Bay Area Host Committee to create an impactful event that showcases all that this region has to offer.”

According to The San Francisco Business Times, hosting this annual championship is a boon for hospitality sector within this area. Joe D’Alessandro, President & CEO of San Francisco Travel commented on it saying “This is a huge win for our region and our economy.”
