HonorHealth has broken ground on a $60 million expansion project at its Scottsdale Shea Medical Center campus. The Cardiovascular Center of Excellence is expected to be completed by 2025 and will feature a new lobby entrance, conference room, cardiovascular ambulatory surgery center, patient rooms equipped with technology for heart and vascular care, as well as a cardiac intensive care unit for complex life-saving treatments. Additionally, the health system is constructing an adjacent $50 million wellness campus off Loop 101 and Pima Road in Scottsdale that should be finished by 2024.
