NYCHA has successfully closed a $635.6 million deal for the rehabilitation of Reid Apartments and Park Rock Consolidated, which will bring significant improvements to 15 East Brooklyn developments and benefit over 3,500 residents. Through the federal Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, all buildings have been converted to Project-Based Section 8 status. The selected PACT partner team will utilize capital funding to fully renovate nearly 1,700 apartments across these developments: Tapscott Street (104-14), Fenimore-Lefferts, Lenox Road-Rockaway Parkway, Ralph Avenue Rehab, Rutland Towers,Sutter Avenue-Union Street,and Tapscott Street Rehab under the Reid Apartments banner; as well as Crown Heights , Howard Avenue,Park Place,Ocean Hill-Brownsville,Park Rock Rehab,Saint Johns-Sterling in Sterling Place Rehabs,and Sterling-Buffalo in Sterling Place Rehabs from the Park Rock Consolidated bundle.
