Hollywood High-Rise to Replace Low-Rise Hotels

Demolishing a block and a half of Hollywood low-rise hotels to make way for an 18-story mixed-use project is the goal of The Condra Group. Taking advantage of new state law, which allows developers to build taller buildings in exchange for including affordable housing, this property currently has 123 hotel rooms located along the city’s famed boardwalk along the beach. These include Neptune Hollywood Beach Hotel, Hollywood Beach Seaside and Casa Pellegrino Boutique Hotel – all under contract from various owners.

The 628,191 square foot project will feature an 18 story residential building at Ocean Boulevard and Oklahoma Street corner; eight story parking garage with some retail on ground floor across McKinley Street; two story beach club with restaurants & rooftop pool on Surf Road.
