Lake Texoma may one day be the site of a 3,000 acre master-planned community. The project, which straddles the border of Texas and Oklahoma is slated to include a resort hotel, retail outlets, restaurants, an upscale marina with 400-600 boat slips and approximately 7500 homes and rental units. According Dallas Business Journal (DBJ), developer David Craig estimates that Preston Harbor will have an ad valorem value between $4 – $5 billion at buildout completion. Craig has also stated that this development is unlike anything seen in North Texas before: “There’s nothing that’s been done like this in North Texas. This is mega-mega.”
The nine mile frontage on Lake Texoma will offer stunning views from restaurants as well as other retail opportunities along with townhome and multifamily developments for visitors to enjoy.
