A 3,000 acre master-planned community is set to be built on the border of Texas and Oklahoma at Lake Texoma. The project, named Preston Harbor, will include a resort hotel, retail stores and restaurants as well as an upscale marina with 400-600 boat slips. Additionally there will be approximately 7,500 homes and rental units available for residents. According to Dallas Business Journal (DBJ), developer David Craig estimates that this development could have a $4-$5 billion ad valorem value upon completion. Craig also noted that “There’s nothing that’s been done like this in North Texas,” calling it “mega-mega.”
The nine miles of frontage on Lake Texoma offers many opportunities for waterfront dining experiences along with townhome and multifamily developments near the marina area. Located roughly 75 miles north of Dallas in Grayson County TX/Marshall County OK region – Preston Harbor is sure to become one of the largest projects ever seen in North Texas when completed!
